Ghana Gas ready as final test proves successful

The Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) has expressed satisfaction with work on the Atuabo Gas Plant as a test run on the plant proved successful. A series of tests was carried out over the weekend on the 111-kilometre Onshore pipelines from Atuabo in the Ellembelle district to Aboadze in the Shama district. Zimbabwe: Power Generation Improves - Murerwa

Daily power generation in Zimbabwe has improved from an average of 1 200 MW to 1 400 MW following refurbishment of power stations, an official has said. Afrox Secures $13.7m Exxaro Contract For Nitrogen Supply

JSE-listed gas and welding firm, African Oxygen (Afrox), on Thursday said it had signed a five-year R147 million ($13.7 million) contract with Exxaro FerroAlloys, a unit of the JSE-listed mining resources firm, Exxaro. Brazilian Firm To Build 700 Megawatt Plant In Nigeria

Nigeria has reached an agreement with Brazilian firm, Benco Energy limited, for the construction of a 700MW combined cycle power generating plant in Bayelsa state, Southern Nigeria. Tanzania to construct 50, 000 houses in a US$ 48 m real estate project

A total of USD 48.24 will be used in the first phase construction of houses in Tanzania to provide shelter for public servants. The real estate project will be funded by the government of Tanzania. Aminex increases Tanzanian discovery estimates to 1.9Tcf
