Tullow to commence drilling onshore Kenyan basin

Dangote to invest in manufactuaring plant in Tanzania

 Aliko Dangote is planning to invest in developing Mbinga coal mine in the southwest of Tanzania. AVIC International to set up headquarters in Nairobi-Kenya at US$ 200m

Tanzania to undertake construction of mining and smelting plants

GGBL sets up manufacturing unit facility East Africa

South Africa s Scaw Metals to open US$40 million grinding plant in East Africa

 According to the Ghana Herald, the plant is expected to become fully operational in 18 months. It will have the capacity to grind 50,000 metric tonnes of metals per annum. Tanzania s trade share in EAC increases
