South Africa to let solar power plants worth $197m

An Italian company called TerniEnergia has won a contract to engineer, procure and construct two solar power plants in South Africa.   The installed capacity of the plants will be 148.5MW.  A 66MW plant will be built at the Tom Burke solar plant, located near the northern boarder with Botswana, and a 82.5 MW plant will be based in Paleisheuwel in the south-west, 190km from Cape Town.   The contract has to be closed by the.... Kenya woos investors to regain pyrethrum top spot

Tanzania: Rural Electrification Boost Farmers' Earnings

US$ 285m limestone mining plant to be set up in Kenya

Tanzania sets aside US$17m for construction of ring road

 The Ministry of Works in Tanzania has set aside US$17m for construction of ring roads in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.   The funds are aimed at constructing tarmac ring roads in the city to ease traffic being experienced. Korea agency VP concludes visit to Kenya

Kenya: South Korea is cementing its relationship with Kenya, ramping up its social investment projects in the country.
