Angola produced 1.7 million barrels of oil per day last July, Petroleum Minister José Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos announced on Wednesday in Luanda. Kenya: American Firms Told to Bid for Energy Projects

Dangote Cement set to expand production plants

South Africa to let solar power plants worth $197m

An Italian company called TerniEnergia has won a contract to engineer, procure and construct two solar power plants in South Africa. The installed capacity of the plants will be 148.5MW.
