Foreign investment sought for upcoming plant
E K Farms has acquired over 100 hectares of land, and is now seeking investors to set up a biogas plant on the land.
As Africa faces rising energy tariffs and becomes more aware of the dangers of traditional fuel and the greenhouse effect, the demand for more cost efficient biogas is increasing. In addition to lowering production costs, the production process of biogas produces fertiliser as a by-product.
