Kenya Industrial & Trade Developments and Prospects

Real GDP grew by an annual average of 3.7% over the 2008-12 period, with agriculture growing by only 0.6% and the industrial and services sectors by 4.0% and 4.5%, respectively. Vivo Energy Kenya to Import Cleaner Diesel

Nairobi — Vivo Energy Kenya, which distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants in Kenya, has become the first oil marketer in the country to import Low Sulphur Fuel Diesel (LSFD) with 50 parts per million (ppm) sulphur content.
