Kenya Power Deploys SAP Solution to Enhance Procurement Processes

Kenya Power has announced the successful deployment of the latest SAP Business Suite to enhance efficiency of local procurement processes. Kenya Power currently spends most of its procurement budget on foreign sourced supplies, but now aims to support local industry by promoting local suppliers of key materials. Dangote Group set to deliver the second cement plant in Africa

Dangote Group set to deliver the second cement plant in Cameroon. The plant will have the capacity to produce of 1.5million metric tonnes of cement a year. Rosneft to supply EGAS with LNG

The oil major, which has no facilities to liquefy natural gas, will send at least 3.5 million tons of LNG to the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company. 24 cargoes will be supplied over a two-year period. KPC secure Sh35 billion for new Mombasa-Nairobi pipeline

KENYA Pipeline Company has secured a $350million (Sh35.6 billion) loan to finance the construction of a new 450-kilometre oil pipeline from Mombasa to Nairobi. The state owned oil distributor will upgrade to a 20 inch ultra-modern multi-product oil pipeline to replace the more than 30 year old - 14 inch pipeline currently in use.
