Tanzania: Seed Production Established for Local Farmers

Tanzania: REA to Electrify All Villages By 2021

 Lindi — Rural Energy Agency (REA) plans to electrify a total of 7,500 villages by 2021, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Professor Sospeter Muhongo, has said. Tanzania: Experts Poised for Study On Sh64 Trillion Gas Processing Plant

 Dar es Salaam — The government is expected to start an environmental impact assessment (EIA) at the end of this month on land where a $30 billion (Sh64.4 trillion) liquefied natural gas (LNG) project will be undertaken.   The site identified by the government is at Likong'o Village in Lindi Region. Ethiopia: ERA Plans to Construct and Maintain 23,000 Kilometers of Road

 Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) aims to construct as well as maintain around 23,000 kilometers of road across Ethiopia during the just started fiscal year.   Commenting the plan Dereje Hailu, Communication Team Leader at ERA, said the Authority aims to upgrade and build new roads that stretch for 1,846 kilometers. Sh126b joint Kenya-Ethiopia power line begins

 Kenya and Ethiopia have started the construction of a Sh126 billion power line that will run between the two countries.   The 1,045 kilometre line will have a transmitting capacity of 2,000MW and is expected to be completed by December 2018. Ethiopia: Gore-Teppi Road Project Gets Parliamentary Nod for U.S.$127 Million Korea Loan
