Tanzania sees economy expanding at 7.5 pct in 2017 - Finance Ministry

The Foreign Direct Investment, FDI, to East Africa grew last year despite an overall drop across Africa from $87 billion to $66.5 billion. Construction of Sh850m data centre in Nairobi begins

A group of Kenyan investors under the trade name Icolo.io is building a Sh850 million data centre in Nairobi. The construction commenced last month and is set to be completed by the end of 2017.
