Rwanda: Govt Focusing on Off Grid Solutions to Boost Energy Efficiency

Rwanda: Vision City Project Supported by Chinese Firm to Address Housing Challenges

Rwanda: Govt to Launch $250 Million Fund for Affordable Housing

A new affordable housing fund that could enable persons earning between Rwf300,000 and Rwf700,000 in monthly wages to buy a house is due to start in July, officials at the Ministry of Infrastructure (MININFRA) have said.   The Minister for Infrastructure, James Musoni, said the fund, estimated to be between $200 million and $250 million (about Rwf206 billion), is one of the key four strategies that the government has come up with to speed.... Urban road upgrading project kicks off in Rwanda

Tanzania: Spray Drones Providing Efficient Pesticide Dispersal

Guangzhou — Chinese firm Dajiang Innovation, popular known as DJI, recently launched its first agricultural aerial system, the Agras MG-1, operated as a drone, is now geared at providing cheaper crop spraying, also billed to become safer and more efficient. Kenya: 310MW Lake Turkana Wind Farm Nearing Completion

Two Kenyan Power Firms Receive $1.6 Million Obama Fund Grant to Boost Green Energy
