Rwanda: Govt Focusing on Off Grid Solutions to Boost Energy Efficiency

The government is set to prioritise off-grid energy solutions such as solar energy and mini-power plants, reduce energy losses, as well as consider using natural gas instead of diesel in energy generating systems to ensure efficiency. Rwanda: Govt to Launch $250 Million Fund for Affordable Housing

A new affordable housing fund that could enable persons earning between Rwf300,000 and Rwf700,000 in monthly wages to buy a house is due to start in July, officials at the Ministry of Infrastructure (MININFRA) have said.
