

PM celebrates the construction of 46,2bn/- water project in Mwanza, Tanzania

The foundation stone was laid by Minister Mwigulu Nchemba for a water infrastructure project in Mwanza, which is estimated to be worth approximately 46.2bn/-. The project is designed to enhance the availability of secure and dependable water for residents.
The initiative is anticipated to have a positive impact on more than 450,000 individuals in the Magu and Misungwi districts, as well as in Mwanza City.
It will also encompass the following areas: Nyegezi, Mkolani, Buhongwa, Nyahingi, Luchelele, Sahwa, Kishiri, Igoma, Kisesa, Bujora, Kanyama, Fela, and Usagara.
The Prime Minister underscored the significance of accountability and unity in guaranteeing the project's timely completion during the ceremony.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the Regional Search and Rescue Coordination Center, inspect the ambulance vessel, lay the foundation stone for a water infrastructure project, and formally launch the MV Mwanza vessel while on an official working visit in the Mwanza region.
