Exciting strides are underway in the Oil & Gas sector, heralding a new era of prosperity for East Africa. WTS Energy, a leading global energy staffing provider headquartered in the Netherlands, views the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) as a strategic gateway for its expansion into Uganda. Upon completion, this pipeline will facilitate the transportation of approximately 60,000 barrels per day from a refinery in Hoima, Uganda, to Tanzania's Tanga port for export purposes.
Additionally, WTS Energy has plans to commence operations in Rwanda. Having already undertaken management and supply duties for two biofuel facilities in Kenya, the Rwanda project's objective is to supply biofuel feedstock to a plant situated in Nairobi.
Currently, WTS Energy operates in Nigeria, Gabon, Kenya, and Mozambique, with further expansion prospects in consideration, including potential ventures in Côte d'Ivoire.
