p It all started with Bortolo Zanin who, in the mid-19th century, owned an inn in which, as well as serving typical local dishes, he warmed people s souls with his White Spirit : the pure essence of the distilled marc, using, down to the last drop, everything that Mother Nature had bestowed. In 1895 Bortolo was increasingly enthused by distillation so he decided to close the inn to dedicate himself full-time to this alchemic art and with good reason, as the efforts made in over 120 years of history have seen the company become one of Italy s major players in the world of spirits and liquors. Thanks to a tradition that has been passed down over 4 generations, a quality recognized at international level - having received almost 300 recognitions - and a highly technological production site, Zanin now has a presence in a good 50 nations across the world, spreading far and wide the good taste of the Made in Italy.
