p WHO WE ARE br The Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation REREC was established under the provisions of the Energy Act of 2019 for purposes of enhancing rural electrification and spearheading the development of renewable energy sources in the country as well as implementing rural electrification projects. br br The Corporation has aligned its activities with the national economic development blueprint, the Vision 2030 and more recently the Government rsquo;s Big 4 initiative that emphasizes on specific targets in manufacturing, food security, affordable housing and healthcare for all. br br REREC supports the Government of Kenya rsquo;s pledge to stimulate economic growth and accelerate job creation to promote sustainable socio-economic development and the economic wellbeing of Kenyans. br br OUR VISION br A green energy-driven nation. br br OUR MISSION br To provide sustainable energy solutions for all through rural electrification and renewable energy for social economic transformation. br br OUR MANDATE br REREC has a mandate of spearheading Kenya rsquo;s renewable energy drive in addition to implementing rural electrification projects. br p

REREC is fully owned by the Government of Kenya. The mandate of the Corporation is to implement projects that enhance rual electrification as well as develop renewable energy sources. The corporation does not engage in the sale of Solar Energy products
