An essential stage of development in the health system was the replacement of traditional imaging and radiology processes with the introduction and widespread use of integrated image archiving and communication systems PACS RIS . As a technology, we have contributed to the acceleration of the display and acquisition of digital images, to the efficiency and centralization of image archiving, to the consolidation of medical evolution and to the preparation of the road for teleradiology.
